What age do I need to be to hire a Campervan?

You must be aged between 23 and 75 although we can make a request to our insurance company outside of this. Please send us an email with a copy of your driver’s license if you would like us to check. Email: [email protected]

 

Am I covered by insurance?

Insurance is included in the hire and the option for additional drivers, please note we do require a security deposit upfront when hiring a campervan further detail can be found in your hire agreement.

What is included when hiring a campervan?

Price includes the campervan selected, gas bottle, toilet fluid, and insurance to drive this van, optional extras are available such as bedding and kitchen kits, etc

What extras are available?

Towels & bedding, Windscreen & tire cover, Pet crate, Lost key cover, Additional driver insurance, Camping furniture, Extra gas bottle, Dublin & Belfast airport pickups, kitchen kit, extra toilet fluid, “hole-in-one” (all-in package).

What does it cost to hire a campervan?

The prices of our campers vary due to variables such as the size of the camper and the time of the year. You can access our pricelist here.

What type of license do I need ?

A normal car license is required to drive any of the campervans we currently have.

What time and where do I pick up the campervan?

We offer collection from Dublin and Belfast airports or at our Home Depot in Dollingstown Northern Ireland. Pick-up times must be arranged with us in advance. Normally we aim to contact you 2 weeks before your arrival date. If you are booking flights and you arrive outside of our opening hours of Monday to Friday 9 am-5 pm please contact us before making those bookings to confirm our availability. We try to accommodate everyone but sometimes it is not always possible.

What is a "hole-in-one"?

This includes – Camping Furniture, a pet crate, an Extra gas bottle, a kitchen kit, a security Deposit reduced to 500, a toilet fluid bottle, towels & bedding, a windscreen & tire cover.

Can I take the van into the UK and Europe?

Yes, you can take our campervans into the UK and Europe.

Do you have automatic or manual campervans?

We have both available but please contact us in advance about your booking to ensure you get the transmission you need if you haven’t already chosen this at the time of booking.

What is your cancelation policy?

In the event of a cancellation by the hirer, the following charges shall be incurred:

  1. If cancelled at any stage – 25% of the rental price
  2. If cancelled 30 nights or less prior to pick up: 50% of the rental price
  3. If cancelled 14 nights or less prior to pick up: 100% of the rental price
Is kitchen and bedding included?

These are optional extras that can be selected at the time of booking or contact us before your arrival.

Am I allowed to bring a pet?

Yes, small pets are allowed but please note a cleaning fee can be added if the van is returned satisfactorily cleaned.

Is there a minimum hire period ?

Yes, 3 nights of the season and 7 nights in peak season

Is there a maximum mileage allowed?

No, we allow unlimited mileage

Do you offer a discount for off-season or long periods of hire?

Yes, feel free to email us with an inquiry and we can consider the time of year and length of hire.

Can more than one person drive?

Yes, more drivers are permitted but incur a cost for the extra insurance on a per-driver basis

Do I need to pay a security deposit and what is this for?

The hire is subject to a security deposit which covers both the liability of the hirer in the event of any first incident or reported incident & the proper return of the vehicle in the same condition as it was let out to the hirer. In the event of any additional incident(s), a second security deposit will be required to continue with the rental.
